Thanks for visiting my portfolio website! I am a proud graduate of DePaul University's College of Computing and Digital Marketing (CDM) and previously served on the Young Alumni Board. In October 2019, I received my Digital Marketing Strategy Certificate from DePaul's Continuing and Professional Education program.

Currently, I am employed by DePaul University (go blue demons!) as the social media and web content producer within University Communications. I create social media for the DePaul News Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram accounts and manage the President's webpages.
In my spare time, I love to travel and explore all of what Chicago has to offer. For about 5 years, I published a weekly donut blog called Donut Daze. It's currently on indefinite hiatus, but I've tried everything from a 7-11 donut to fancy cronut-like creations. For those wondering, my favorite donut shop in Chicago is Doughnut Vault (get the chestnut glazed!), but real Chicago donut fans know Old Fashioned Donuts in Roseland is worth the trip.

Portfolio

Before my employment at DePaul, I worked at WTTW | WFMT, as the Digital Marketing Manager. I led all digital fundraising efforts for both the TV and radio stations, Giving Tuesday, Calendar Year End, and WTTW's May Sustainer Challenge. I also project managed the transition from Mailchimp to Prospect2 for our e-mail marketing software.
While employed at the American Lung Association, I managed the National social media accounts. My responsibilities include creating a monthly content calendar and creating toolkits for our local accounts to use. Additionally, I provide social media posts and training on best practices for our CEO and other members of our executive leadership team. I have been known to create a meme or two. I even made a TikTok.

In 2020, as the world began to shelter-in-place and work remotely, the American Lung Association launched a brand refresh. I was responsible for transitioning our social channels from our old brand to our new brand. This project included not just social media posts in our new tone of voice, but also profile pictures and cover photos.

In September 2020, I was an integral team member for our #Act4Impact virtual telethon, hosted by Queen Latifah. This live-streamed event was held on Facebook and included Facebook Fundraising integration. I was responsible for all of the organic promotion as well as community management during the 2-hour event.

Another responsibility included building emails for different Lung Association campaigns that include a global monthly email to over 700,000 subscribers, action alerts to our e-advocates, and our bi-weekly internal newsletter.

I also planned both virtual and in-person holiday parties, baby showers, and a wedding shower as the "President of Fun" (aka social committee). I promise they were fun.
